Boy clambers into boot of ComfortDelGro taxi in viral video clip
On Saturday (13 April), footage of a boy climbing into the boot of a ComfortDelGro taxi at VivoCity circulated on line.
The footage has gone viral on social media, with above 380 shares on Facebook.
Addressing the incident, ComfortDelGro reported they are investigating the subject.

The online video, posted to the SG Highway Vigilante – SGRV Fb page, reveals a younger passenger clambering into the boot of a blue ComfortDelGro taxi.
In accordance to the post, the incident happened at VivoCity on Friday (12 April), at 7.36am.
The clip starts off by demonstrating a group of four boys preparing to board the taxi at the pick-up position.

A few of them are at the passenger doors of the car, while a fourth boy stands by the vacant boot of the taxi.

Talking to MS News, a spokesperson for ComfortDelGro confirmed that they are knowledgeable of the movie.
“Passenger protection is our top precedence and driving in the boot is dangerous and strictly prohibited,” reported the spokesperson.
“We are investigating this incident and will just take proper action to assure basic safety regulations are enforced.”
Also, they urge all passengers to only use the designated seats in the taxi and to also wear their seatbelts.
