“Please return to me”: Lady asks close friend to give back again Airpods gift from four decades back
A post on Complaint Singapore’s Fb site featuring a conversation between “Jeff” and a “friend” about an Airpods gift has sparked a combination of amusement and indignation amongst netizens.
The screenshot of the discussion showed Jeff’s good friend, “Josephine”, inquiring him to return a pair of Apple Airpods that she had provided him as a birthday present 4 several years ago.

She described in the text that she needed the gift back again, as her Airpods have been not operating and she was in a tricky money location.
Jeff, understandably, did not reply, which invited a more hostile reaction.
Girl asks to return birthday present as “a compact favour”
On 15 March, Jeff posted Josephine’s preliminary messages on Complaint Singapore’s Facebook site, inquiring if any individual has encountered this ahead of.

Woman persists in her endeavours to retrieve Airpods
On Monday (18 March), Jeff adopted up with one more screenshot of his conversation with Josephine, just after he unsuccessful to reply her initial messages.
Significantly irritated, she explained: “Read message don’t want [sic] reply?” She also included that she was “not inquiring everything much”, just the Airpods.

Jeff replied, calling Josephine out for inquiring for a birthday present back. He also mentioned the Airpods she bought him have not been operating for a even though.
He then adopted that up by with a sarcastic reaction, stating he is also not undertaking very well monetarily with no right position and money but.

Josephine then sends him a string of emojis, ending off with a vulgarity.
Netizens troll the woman’s request for Airpods reward
Considering the fact that the incident was posted on Fb, several commenters have ridiculed Josephine’s ask for for seeking to just take again a birthday existing from that extended ago.

Other people defended Josephine, expressing Jeff need to have served her as a “token of friendship”.
