CCPI based headline inflation decelerated sharply in March 2024 – Adaderana Biz English

Headline inflation, as calculated by the 12 months-on-year (Y-o-Y) change in the Colombo Shopper Selling price Index (CCPI, 2021=100) decelerated sharply to .9% in March 2024 from 5.9% in February 2024. This deceleration in the headline inflation is broadly in line with the projections of the Central Lender of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
