Expolanka Holdings Announces Delisting and Change of Company Name – Adaderana Biz English

Expolanka Holdings PLC Thursday (28) introduced that the following resolutions were duly permitted by the shareholders of the company at an Remarkable General Meeting held on March 27, 2024.

The company’s shareholders accepted the delisting of the everyday shares of Expolanka Holdings PLC from the formal list of the Colombo Stock Exchange. This choice is topic to the acceptance of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka. The shares of any shareholder who needs to market their shares due to the delisting will be bought by SG Holdings International Pte Ltd at a selling price of Rupees A person Hundred and Eighty 5 (Rs. 185.00) for each share.

Upon the delisting of shares from the Colombo Inventory Exchange, Expolanka Holdings PLC will be considered to have changed its status from a community stated corporation to a general public firm. In accordance with the provisions of the Organizations Act, No. 07 of 2007, the title of the corporation will be transformed from ‘Expolanka Holdings PLC’ to ‘Expolanka Holdings Limited’.

These resolutions have been handed as Exclusive Resolutions as defined in Rule 5 (2) (a) of the SEC Principles printed in Gazette Extraordinary No. 1215/2 dated 18th December 2001.
